Dots and Boxes
Close a box, claim it, go again.
About Dots and Boxes
Dots and Boxes is the timeless strategy game from school notebooks, made for two players on one screen. Take turns drawing a single line between two adjacent dots. Complete the fourth side of a box and you claim it — marked in your colour — and you go again, so a good chain of boxes can swing the whole game in one turn. The trick is knowing when to give a box away to avoid handing your opponent a long chain. When every line is drawn, whoever owns the most boxes wins. It is simple to pick up but full of clever sacrifice-and-chain tactics once you get going. Local two-player, fully offline, free and instant on any touchscreen.
